ESS SABRE32 Ultra DAC
 
A high-performance 8-channel SABRE32 Ultra DAC is built into the A-50DA-K/-S. It provides low noise and a high S/N ratio, resulting in 4-channel parallel drive on each channel, up to 384 kHz. This results in a clear and open, yet powerful sound with the best sound quality.
384 kHz/32-bit USB-DAC for asynchronous transfer
The built-in amplifier can be connected directly to a computer, where the USB signal transfer is completely asynchronous, which means that all signal transfers are controlled by a high-precision clock to ensure high-quality sound. This eliminates jitter, delivering master-quality sound with extremely precise audio signals. In addition to 11.2 MHz DSD, the device supports 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192, 352.8, and 384 kHz LPCM formats and 16, 24, and 32-bit quantization.

We used top-quality materials on the built-in amplifier's connectors to ensure the best sound transfer. The A-50DAK/-S features machined, gold-plated bronze speaker terminals, fully gold-plated input terminals and a large AC input with polarity markings. The solid bronze speaker terminals are spaced far apart to accommodate thicker, high-quality cables. The speaker terminals have large, wax-coated bases for extra security.
 
 
Aluminum front panels and control knobs.
 
An extra-thick 3.5mm aluminum front panel provides the rugged construction needed for clear, stable audio performance. The aluminum volume control provides a solid, high-end feel and style. The input selector, Balance and Bass/Treble controls are also made of aluminum.
